hi hi,
I skipped last week's weekly makeup. Don't know why... but whatever! Over the weekend, because I am doing all the LOTDs, I ended up with a overflowing tray, and I was kind of too lazy to put the 'extra' stuff away. But I am 'settled' into my daily routine again, and put away the nice extras which I don't have time for in the morning.
Here are the main items (brows & concealers are pretty much the same, so I didn't show in pictures):
Foundation: Mixture of Chanel Mat Lumiere 20 and Max Factor Lasting Performance in 100
Both have very similar formula, but one is a tad too dark/ beigy, and one is a tad too pink/ whitish... so I will put a drop of the Max Factor into my Chanel foundie. And both are long lasting foundations, so they are really very similar!

Concealer Brush Rave!! I love using this angled art brush for my concealer. It is synthetic, and cost only $3! Gives the most precise application, perfect for applying the product onto the tiny spots of imperfections on my face.

The rest of the products, on the cheeks:
I am just feeling kind of 'cheeky' this week, trying to be fancy and all, so I piled on 3 products!
MAC Cheeky Bronze MSF, NARS Luster (which is similar tone to Cheeky Bronze but much finer) and then lightly contour with MUFE Mat Bronzer #02.

This is the result of the 3 cheek products on my face. Note, this is foundation after around 9 hours of wear, albeit it was a pretty cooling day, and I didn't perspire much. I had to blot twice though, as usual, which probably explains the redness around the nose.

And no I didn't wear this to work, it is just a grey cami I wore underneath my blouse, and the twisted straps are part of the design.. and gosh, can you see the freckles on my shoulders?? They have been there for years, and I don't even expose my bare arms to the sun much at all. How on earth do the spots appear there!! The spots don't really bother me, because I hardly look at my shoulders, and well, as long as they don't spread any more... I guess I ain't going to do anything crazy to try to remove them.
A close up look of the spots

Any of you with the same spotty issues?
And lastly, just to show 2 pairs of shoes which I have been wearing to work lately:
One is a recent purchase, a pair of Converse slip-ins.. they are sooooo light, and so easy to wear (no fuss with shoelaces) I knew they would make great everyday work shoes for me. They are a little damp right now, because I just walked home, and it was raining so bad, even the super big brolly I had didn't help prevent my pants and shoes from getting wet.

And another pair of shoes, I got them from ASOS last year, they look kind of manly, but very comfy, and makes my pants/ shirt outfit look smarter.

It came looking this seasoned, very worn look, which I love! And they aren't very expensive, I think they cost around S$60 max.

If I am wearing a skirt or dress for the day, I usually just wear my black flats from Topshop or American Eagles. These flats are super nice for driving about too! But sad to say, ever since I got my license, I haven't been driving as much as when I was learning how to drive (oh man, why are car prices so exorbitant here!!!)
I am also currently on a crash diet, yup, that's the only thing I can call it, for a week, it's a wreck on my social life, no dinner meetings, no outings, no cravings! It's my personal mission to lose some kg before the new year season starts, and time is running out. I will settle into a more sustainable routine (ie regular exercising after next week). Yup, I know crash diets aren't really effective, but I just need to get "into the mood" again after slacking about for too long. Clothes don't lie! :)
That's all, and thanks for looking!
ps It's Wednesday already?! I so cannot wait for next (short) week!
