I have also just worn it in my latest LOTD entry.
It is a reddish deep pink blush - quite pigmented. You can pick up each color variation in the pan separately using a small brush, but I usually just swirl my brush into the whole pan to get a 'mixed' color. It gives a nice deeper rosy blush to my cheeks, and I had to use a light hand to apply this blush, so I don't end up with slaps of red cheeks.
Each of the four shades are a variation of a red tone, one is orangey, one pinky, and one a little corally.
Love the shade, and not too shimmery, so you can still add a cheek highlight if you want a more obvious glow/ sheen on your cheeks. I do wish it lasted better, because I do notice some color fade after a few hours of wear.

My Top Picks from this collection - I chose the colors after my makeup featuring the new products from the collection.
I was treated to the Shiseido White Lucent facial - very relaxing and my face looked fresher after the 45 min session.
It was part of the annual Shiseido White Day which was on the 14 March 2012.

She lined my lips with a pencil, before using a lip brush to apply my choice of color.
I was in a rush after the makeover, so I didn't take any final results.
I picked two lipsticks & one eyeshadow palette.
I think I was subconciously going for the TRUE NATURAL look exemplified by Kumiko Goto shown in the first picture.
The palette is housed in a sleek black casing.
and the palette swatched in the same order on my hand, using the sponge tip applicator
quite intensely pigmented with fine glitter bits (no primer used)
and the lipsticks -- my fave! MAQuillAGE consistently releases all these luxuriously glossy and smooth lipsticks, it's hard to pick my faves, but I managed to select two which I would wear all the time. All the 12 shades are very natural in tone (as opposed to the trendy bright shades you would find in the Shiseido range)
applied straight from the tube - it looks matte but glides on amazingly...
and it is so weightless, and creamy, and I love this shade!
it looks like my lips but better, yet you could see there is color on my lips, and you can see just how glossy, and 'wet' the lipstick looks

This entry is an overview of the three new Shimmering Cream Eye Colors that Shiseido has launched for their SS2012 makeup collection. The three colors are fairly spring-like, and also rather on trend, with the (very wearable) orange shade, and two pastel shades in the pink and blue. I really do love these cream eye colors, and for S$32 a pop, you really can't go wrong with these. They don't crease on me (with the use of an eyeshadow primer), applies easily, and the colors don't fade at all through the day.
I really can't recommend these enough - you need to have at least a couple in your collection!

All three shades are equally shimmery, unlike the original 12 shades that were released last year whereby some were shimmering, some were more metallic and sparkly looking. Otherwise, the texture and consistency is kept constant, which is really the highlights of this product.

The weekend is almost here... and I am bursting with lots of entries to upload and lots of products just waiting to be photographed, swatched and played with. I have at least 3 new foundations to try out, lots of skincare and also new brands that I have yet to try out myself. Unfortunately my skin (in particular, my forehead) is suffering from lots bumps recently, I don't feel like doing any proper LOTD entries. But with some department stores running their storewide promos and special events lately, I think I shall feature some upcoming new products, so you might want to check them out when you go shopping this weekend!
One of the most anticipated products for me personally, are the new Shiseido Shimmering Rouge for their new SS2012 collection. There is a total of seven new shades, and they are even creamier and longer lasting than those released just last year. I love their Shimmering Rouge, the formula and color range is just fantastic, and there are always colors that will suit your preference and mood.
I picked 3 out of the 7 shades to showcase here. Basically, I selected the signature shade - RS619 - a dark plummy shade which the model is wearing in the campaign images, a classic nude-ish shade in RD718, and finally a super trendy shade that got many of you very excited from my instagram photo-stream --- that's OR316. If you need to grab any of these, I highly recommend these three shades.
The packaging of the Shimmering Rouge is very chic and slim, in a metal case, and it is super creamy, you can feel them melting and settling into your lips once applied, and they look glossy, and gives intense payoff. What you see in the tube is the color that you will get on your lips. I don't find them drying at all, and they just glide very smoothly onto your lips. I usually just slap them on straight from the tube, since they are the slimmer lipsticks, they can be applied more precisely.

This Spring/ Summer, Shiseido releases new shades to their existing range of Shimmering Rouge and the popular Shimmering Cream Eye Colour. I love the Shimmering Cream Eye Colour - they are easy to work with, and gives great color and comes in such a good range of shades to suit every women. The Shimmering Rouge have an amazing silky ceamy texture, and this seasons new additions come in even more intense shades. From neutrals to bright pops of colors in the hot pink, orange and even an interesting brown shade, I think you will find something that you like.
In this entry, I will be showing you a sneak peek of the products which I will be featuring in the next few days, and I am really excited to share my thoughts and more detailed swatches and/or comparisons soon!

I had a hard time choosing, but all these colors call out to me in particular. I can't wait to re-create the promo image!
I also had a skin scan session done today at the TANGS Orchard counter. This is a free service provided, which takes the guesswork out of analysing your skincare concerns---magnifying your skin 50 times!!!!! The 5 main aspects of your skin condition is precisely measured and plotted in a kind chart, and the BA will explain your skin condition, and make recommendations on a targetted appropriate skincare routine. And guess what, as indicated by the scanning and analysis, I actually have DRY SKIN! (well, this could be due to my recent lack of a night-time skincare cream). But I score high on the Clarity & Resilience aspects - which means..my skin is quite clear-- or that indicates the clear area of skin under my eyes?? gosh. I forgot! -- I hope I didn't get the information wrong.
But in the picture below, you can see, anything that is indicated in PINK is the ideal zone which you want your skin to work towards.
The good thing is, the machine can save your information, and you can go back for follow ups, say for example, after trying out a certain routine for 2 - 3 months, so back and have another scan to see if there is any improvements in the specific area, and also to see if you have new concerns to address. I think I wil go back for another check up after a couple of months! They are really friendly and helpful.
A second scan also reveals the melanin spots both on the surface and underneath the skin. You can see the dark spots! (Eeeeks!) and also the scale that indicates the melanin level.

When I first blogged about the new Anna Sui 2012 Spring collection here, I knew immediately I wanted the Rose Cheek Colour in Mystic Rose - which is a "bright translucence and luminescence" shade. It retails for $49 and not $51 as previously stated. I think this is already available at all Anna Sui counters, I bought mine at Isetan Orchard.
I was a little underwhelmed by how small the blush pans look, somehow I can always imaged them to be bigger. And the rose embossing on the pans is not exactly very defined, I asked the SA to bring out a couple to show me and they all look the same. Regardless, I swatched Mystic Rose, and it was pretty enough for me to buy it anyway.
The other colors are lovely too, and I might be able to feature more of them in the near future. Do head on to the counters and swatch them all, the pigmentation is quite decent, and though a little powdery, the shimmer bits are quite pretty and the colors when swirled together, all look very pretty indeed. I can't justify purchasing more cheek colors giving my bursting blush drawers... so I went straight for this which I feel is the most unique.

I must add that the swatches actually look way better in real life than my pictures show... hence I was not able to post more shots of the product on my hands. I did use this in my next upcoming LOTD, so do keep a lookout for that to see the soft glow of this highlighting blush in action.
