I got myself several Chanel goodies the past few days, and had them all gift wrapped just for the fun of it! These items were from 2 trips, one at the Robinsons counter, and one at the MBS flagship store. The MBS store has immaculate service and their packaging is more exquisite, with the iconic Chanel camille flower.
Stuff I bought:
Mat Lumiere (long lasting luminous matte) foundation in 20 Clair
Ultra Fine Translucence Power with Deluxe Puff (this is considerably more expensive compared to their regular loose powder, and for only 10g of product, I feel a little ripped off now)
Nail Polish in Khaki Brun (surprised that it is still in stock, and so I got it to complete my Khaki collection)
Chanel Beige Eau de Toilette 200ml
Beige is one of the perfumes from Les Exclusifes de Chanel, I think there are about 10 or 12 perfumes in this collection (only the MBS flagship store carries all of them, and they are not sold at the regular makeup counters), and well, I shan't go into the details and technicalities of how it smells like, but it is very floral, very spring, very comfortable. It reminds me of a crisp white clean shirt and a field full of colorful flowers blooming in the sunshine.
This retails for about S$341 (if I remember rightly, didn't check my receipt!)
The Chanel store at MBS also offers a full range of makeup services, including eyebrow grooming, makeup service consultations, private makeup classes (eg base makeup, advanced makeup)..it is separate but right next to the fashion store itself, and well, let's just say I really enjoyed myself shopping there, and will find every excuse to go back again (already left my name on the list for them to call me when their Spring MU collection launches 1 Jan)! Opps!
Sorry I didn't take more pictures! It was a case of pounding headache, and messy location that prevented me from snapping more individual close up pictures, but you get the idea! :)
