this is a quick look loosely inspired by the Prada SS'11 catwalk makeup look. The look on the models is a very bold metallic silver eyes, all over the lids, strong brows, and the rest of the face is pretty much natural. I decided to create a more wearable version of this look, taking inspiration from the runway into real life... and you know what... this might well put a super beautiful silver eyeshadow into regular use! :)
Before we get into the products used, these are the Prada SS'11 makeup images:
And some close up shots of my eye and lips:
I wanted to just even out my skintone, and didn't use much concealer, hence you might see some spots/ freckles coming through. Also, I added a little kick by adding some holo-glitter eyeshadow right in the middle of my eyelids. I also did not use a cheek color for this look -- but my natural cheek color shows through the face & body foundation --- as the eyes are the main focus.
Foundation: MUFE HD Primer #5 (the pale blue one, sample courtesy of Amy!), MAC Face & Body foundation, Chanel Natural Finish Loose Powder #10
Bronzer/ Contour: Shiseido Bronzer #2 Desert Rose
Lips: Erased my lips with MAC Naked Lip Pencil, MAC Pro Longwear Overtime (blotted and re-applied)
Eyes: UDPP, MUA Bullet (foiled pow wow silver eyeshadow), Shu Uemura ME brown (crease), Shu Uemura Rainbow (holo glitter eyeshadow)
No liner on upper lids, but I used MAC Cobalt and Shu Uemura ME Blue eyeshadow on lower lids -- you can just use any blue pencil liner actually.
Lashes: Clinique lower lash mascara, Ardel #120
I also 'discovered' a new YT makeup girl (nick is Glitterdollz7) to watch today, and she is gorgeous, she does beautiful makeup and she speaks well!
That's all, and thanks for looking!
