Hi!!
I really miss writing here, and raving about MU! It's been really hectic at work, trying to catch up with everything and keeping my energy level high. I am still jogging about 3 times a week, and some days, I added the wii fit to my routine, for the yoga and stretches. I also had to cancel a couple of appointments (including my brow trimming) due to last minute stuff which cropped up at work.
I did get some new stuff, well, really just skin care, since I ran out of my moisturiser and I have been wanting to try out this brand 'Bio-essence' which is (I found out from their website), a Singaporean brand name, and this is sold in more than 15 countries, including USA, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong etct etc...

I bought these all at a mall sale, and they going at 1-for-1 prices. So between me and my sister, we shared everything. I used the "total block protective lotion" as a day cream, it is a tinted moisturiser, and contains 50SPF, which is quite powerful, I think. It doesnt leave a oily feeling, and makes my skin looks smoother before make up. I used the Radiant Youth Essence before the lotion, and this essence feels oily at first but it all gets absorbed into the skin almost instantly. And then I used the face lifting cream at night, it has a tingling feeling but I think it's the lifting and tighening in action. Overall, good deal in terms of prices, and I have been using this for 3-4 days, without any skin upset.
Next, a random look of the day, I went for my pedicure today with my sister, and did this natural look, using Smoke&Diamonds and Apri-Ski on the outer corner. I also used Ravishing cremesheen lipstick today. If you think I look oily in the next pics it's beause this picture was taken after I got home, and I didn't blot my face while I was out or before this pic was taken.

Speaking of pedicure, in view of the Chinese New Year coming next week (I whole week later, boo!!) and I chose a metalic red colour calld An Affair in Red Square by OPI. I also did a foot spa thingy, which made my legs really smooth and moistrised.

And while I am on the subject of Chinese New Year *which is coming soon, next week, and which means I get 4 days off from Saturday -- Tuesday)* my siblings, bf and myself went to Chinatown to check out new year goodies. Here are some pictures of me shameless posing away.

That's my youngest sister in the background in the white tee.

And my other younger sister just over my shoulder, making a funny face at the camera in the background. By the way, this is my fave top of the moment, a sheer printed TOPSHOP tee which I tucked into my shorts from Banana Republic. And I wonder what my younger sis is yakking about on her phone. ;p
MY WEEKLY FAVES
Ok, now I am going to talk about MU stuff which I have been using and loving recently. First up is the MAC227 brush, this is new, and I really like using this brush, because it is good for packing on the colours, I just brush this all over my lids, and the color comes on nicely and most of all, saves me soooo much time compared to if I am using a smaller brush like a MAC239. And it is also very dense and firm, and just feels really good.

Favourite eyeshadow combination:
I am loving Dazzlelights which is the middle shown below, and I just put this all over my lids. Then I use White Frost (the left one) as a brow highlight. For outer corner, I used Smoke and Diamonds & Apri-Ski to blend everything together.
Favourite face product and blusher:
That's the MSF in Light Medium and Shimmer (from the Sonic Chic collection a while back),and Petticoat MSF. To set my face after liquid foundation, I used the Light Medium (matte side), buffed into my skin with a kabuki brush. And Petticoat makes such an intense rosy colour on my cheeks, I literally just had to very lightly tap it onto my cheeks, or I will risk looking like a clown.

That's about all.... it's another lazy sunday, and I think i will go for a jog later on. I am thinking of re-organising my make up storage later on--- I will post pictures if I succeed in shifting everything around.. it all depends.. if I get carried away I might not go jogging after all. Or I should go jogging now.... oh decisions, decisions, decisions.....
Thanks for reading!
