Hi hi this is a review of two products, the Ettusais BB Mineral Cream & Powder. It's going to be a raving review, for a start. I have been using either of the products or both of them together almost everytime I put on makeup for the past 3 weeks or so.
I have already featured the products, swatches and lots of photos in this earlier entry HERE, do check that out for more information. Price information is also in that entry.
Just want to get this review up, so in case you are interested, you can purchase them at Metro during their 20% off from 25--27 September.
What I love about the BB cream:
In terms of coverage, it provides light, visible coverage - and definitely evens out my skintone. I also do like the shades in this range. This is the perfect neutral shade for my skintone. I usually apply a layer of this BB cream as a base, and a thin layer of liquid foundation over. This combination usually makes my base lasts the whole day, and for this BB cream, it did help in oil control - I do need to blot after 4 or 5 hours, but except for my T-zone, rest of the face remains fresh.
In terms of finish, it doesn't feel 'creamy' nor sticky after application. It is super super smooth, and does smooths out my skin texture, giving the appearance of a flawless finish (save for my spots). If you swatch this BB cream you might notice it feels almost powdery after you blend it out.
I really like this BB cream, it ranks right up there with my other fave, the Freshel one. But if you want a softer smoother finish, go for the Ettusais one.
These effects can be illustrated in the diagram below:

What I love about the BB MIneral Loose Powder:
It is extremely finely milled, and provides slight translucent coverage. This is becoming one of my favourite setting powders, because it helps to 'seal' my base makeup, set my concealers and what not. It seems to adhere to my skin, and does not look powdery.
And the finish, is seriously, honestly, I must admit one of the most flawless looking I have seen in recent loose powders I have tried.
Together with the BB cream, this is becoming a power combo which I am really liking for a smooth base that lasts all day.
The promo image claims baby smooth skin -- I may not have baby smooth skin -- but I can certainly fake the appearance of baby smooth skin!
Also, both products contains skincare properties, and I have not noticed any breakouts which are due to the use of these products.
Shall end off this quick review - because I really have nothing bad to say about it.... are some pictures which I am using this BB cream and powder combination.
Off to work in the morning

Sleepy look, but I think you can tell the smoothness and how even it makes my skin look.

Also used this combination in a LOTD entry back here - where I gave my initial impressions.

I really highly recommend these two products, and if you were to ask me to choose, I might have to go for the loose powder, cos it will set any foundation, and make your face look super smooth and flawless.
