And so after spending maybe an hour at the Dior sale (click here to see the damages), we drove down to Orchard for the Shiseido sale, at their office (1 Grange Road, #12-01 Orchard Building). A few of the other onsugarettes have already 'announced' the details of this sale, and what is available, so please check out their respective entries! Under the Shiseido brand is a range of makeup houses, such as Shiseido (both the makeup and haircare), Maquillage, ettusais, ZA, Majolica Majorca, Clé de Peau Beaute.... it was kind of interesting, cos again, I didn't plan to go there, as I have already gotten Joanne to CP a few items for me. So that is why this is another random haul. I spent $119 at this sale. Great great great deal, for the amount of stuff I got.
Again, this sale is still on-going for tomorrow 10 - 8pm (not too sure).
All prices which I state here are the sale prices. I am not too sure the retail prices of these items.
Let's get the boring stuff out of the way: a bottle of ettusais glittery nail polish ($6) and a Clé de Peau Beaute brush case/ pencil case ($2), anything you call it.
I think I have swatched the ettusai nail polish before, it is very densely packed with glitter bits, but at (if I am not wrong, $20 a bottle) it is a little steep. And when I saw this at the sale, I grabbed one for myself.

The little CDP pouch can be used as a pencil case! Or brush holder for when you want to bring your smaller brushes out for touch ups. It is very skinny and lightweight.

Next, are some eyeshadow palettes from Majorlica Majorca. These go for three at $20. Or $8 for one. Color way is quite limited. I grabbed these for a on-going swap, and also pressies.

And next, I bought my first Clé de Peau Beaute lipstick. Must finger point to Sarah and Joey, who after they knew I was going to the sale, were hinting at me to check out the CDP lippies... and I saw the CDP section, the prices were still a little steep (there is something about being at a crazy sale that seriously lower your mental price points, like why spend $30 when you can buy another lippy or three at $15)... and I didn't really examine the colors. But after walking about one round the room, Iris from Shiseido caught up with me, and we chatted for a bit, and she pulled me to the CDP section again, and told me what a great deal those are... and so I started swatching, and found this one that really appealed to me (read: something I would wear everyday).
These lippies were going at S$35 at the sale, and retail for S$105 each at the counters.
They are only 2g, and not retractable.. so only push up what little you need. Both Joey and Sarah rave about the formulation of this lipstick, so, I am really really curious to wear it soon.

I am not pushing any of the lipstick up to take this picture. You know why! Haha.

And then I grabbed some Shiseido goodies:
One of the staff was unpacking these sun protection lip treatment, and she was swatching it on my hand, saying it retails for S$45 and I must get some, and I also got my friends to buy for themselves, and in the little frenzy, a nice auntie around me got so intrigued, she asked me WHERE WHERE, and I pointed her in the direction. These were going for $12 each at the sale. I will be giving/ selling them to my sister and gf who are very big on lip treatments.

And next, is a Shiseido stick foundation, in the shade Natural Light Ivory I-02. There is 10g of product, I am not sure of its retail price, but it is most likely in the high $60s or $70 range. This was going for $20 each. I also saw I-04 at the sale, in case you are interested.

Overall, I am quite satisfied with this random haul. I didn't go crazy, and I got some stuff which I know I would use. I didn't go there super early, nor brave the crowds, didn't plan on going, and I am pretty sure all the "good" stuff were snapped up, which is good for my wallet -- and just select from whatever is left -- so, everyone is happy:)
Remember, the sale will still be on for one more day, 25 Nov 2010!
That's all, and thanks for reading.
