So I went to Palz (that Far East Plaza store with lashes, makeup supplies, nail polish) and I bought these 2 colors for S$32. Besides the milky taupe colors, lavender colors, I am also drawn to all shades of black and gunmetal shades, and hence the reason for these:
- Suzi Skies in the Pyreness (Suede) I like this color, and the suede formulation, because it dries so fast, and the 'glitter' makes it more interesting and it wears better than the matter formula which usually looks less than perfect after 1 day of wear (meaning it isn't so matte anymore). Plus it dries so fast, I can just wear this and rush out of the house if I need to.
- Here Today, Aragon Tomorrow The name of this color is so Lord of the Rings! Haha. Deep dark forest green. I thought of my OPI for Sephora Dark Room.. and I will show a comparison later on.
This is Dark Room (on the left) and Here Today, Aragon Tomorrow (on the right). Dark Room is a dark green with a greyish tinge. The latter color is a true green. Reminds me of the green shade from the MAC nail polish collection last year.
And I will be wearing Suzi Skies in the Pyreness for the next few days.
I also promised a comparision of the nude colors which I have accumulated over time... and I have selected two which are the closest in tone/ shade to MAC's Light Affair.
From the left, we have OPI Bare it in Trafaglar Square, MAC Light Affair, and OPI Let Them Eat Ricecake.
And on the nails, in the same order as above. Really, there isn't much different if you don't notice... Light Affair looks more similar to Let Them Eat Ricecake.
Yup, hope you find this helpful, and thanks for reading!
