I bought 3 nail polish from American Apparel when I was at the Vegas Premium Outlets - click HERE for the first entry. And so here are the swatches.
All three colours are smooth, creamy and with the exception of Army Jacket, are all one coaters. They remind me of the texture of Illamasqua nail colors.
There is a whole color range of American Apparel nail polish, but I am so drawn towards the muted funky colors.

Army Jacket looks just like its namesake. An army green, but I know my pictures make the green looks more like grassy green. I don't think I have any color like this in my stash.

California Trooper is a thick milky creamy beige color. It isn't exactly nude, and has some yellow undertones to it. Some might not like how stark milky it is, but this is the sort of color that is right up my alley. With my current short nail length, it looks neutral and chic. It is interesting to note this is a 'nude' that has no pinky, skin, beigy tone, suddenly it comes to my mind that it's like a soya bean type of color, yellow beans or something.
It might remind me of Illamasqua's Load which I also own, but this is a thicker one coater, while Load requires 2 - 3 coats for full opaqcity.

Office is a mint candy apple color -- very similar to Essie's mint candy apple which I also own - duh of me. Haha. It does seem cooler in tone. It has the same creamy texture of China Glaze's For Audrey, but it is obviously much lighter.

All three are gorgeous colors, and look great together, much like how I painted all the colors of the OPI Pirates of the Carribbean collection together, or how I painted all the Chanel's Le Khaki collection together ... you get the drift. :)
Have you tried American Apparel nail polish?
Thanks for looking!
