Hi!!
I am very glad to be back in full force, meaning, no more glitches (I hope!), and with all my gadgets in place! It seems the whole logging in problems are finally resolved. As some of you might know, the MAC Pro Longwear Lipcremes have been released, and so far only 8 shades are available. The bright neon orange - Love Forever -seems to be OOS at both MAC counters I went to yesterday. All the colors look really lovely, and the textures seem to differ somewhat among the shades. Temptalia did a thorough review and swatches of the whole range, and do check that out, if you are interested to see the other colors.
I just got one color, and went for a very safe shade, called Overtime. It is a neutral pink color, and is just a very wearable light pink on me. Temptalia compared this color to a few other MAC shades, such as Hue, Creme Cup and Angel, all of which I also have (but Angel is currently MIA), but when I first saw Overtime and swatched it, the first color that came to my mind as a dupe was actually the YSL RV 07 (Lingerie Pink). Later this morning, when I swatched the colors, it turned out that the YSL RV No 01 (Nude Beige?) looks a lot more similar.

This range of lipsticks have a different packaging, which I find sleeker, it feels like metal, and reminds me of their pro only color cream sticks. The top of the lipstick is also a flat top, as compared to the usual tapered/ rounded tip.
and some swatches on my hands, and comparisons to the colors I mentioned earlier:

and since I think that the YSL RV No 01 is the closest, I did a couple of lip swatches:
Dupes, no? But of course, the texture of both lipsticks are different. The MAC lipstick is definitely a lot more long lasting, compared to the YSL RV. In terms of texture, Overtime is drier, while the RV is very creamy.
I feel a slight itch to get more, but I shant be greedy, as I think of the stash of BNIB lipsticks I have in my drawer waiting to be used.
The Pro Longwear Foundation, I was told, would only be launched next September.... much like how we have to wait almost one year for the Studio Sculpt range to be released here.
That's all, and thanks for looking!

I can see you rocking the reds in
this range! they are very pretty~
