Last week, I attended a bloggers gathering organised by Freshel by Kanebo. I shan't go too much into what happened during the event, except that there was a skincare presentation, a skit, all in a cosy venue at Drinks Culture [at chinatown], which you can read about in the other girls' entries. One thing I would say though, it was great meeting & catching up with the rest of the ladies [Michelle, Rusty, Kim, Chantana, Verlyn, Joyce, Charlene, who all got the memo to dressed in lovely white and I turned up in my tangerine shirt after work--hur hur hur]
I shall only feature the two main products which I received during the event, share with you the product information and some application demonstration.
First product is the Moist Lift W Cream - and like all BB creams, it promises many things:
- essence
- emulsion
- cream
- sunscreen
- light makeup base
It contains ingredients, like:
- Adhesive Collage, Hyaluronic Acid, Silk Essence - moisturising ingredients
- Yeast Extracts - Keratin softening ingredient
- SPF23 PA++

Among all the BB Creams I have, this one probably is the closest to my skintone -- but for me, all BB creams eventually blend into my skintone, as they are mainly self-adjusting anyway.
Freshel has another BB Cream, which is the White C W Cream UV which contains SPF 32PA++ - it contains Vitamin C, Citrus Peel and Orange Peel Extract.

THE MOIST LIFT W CREAM IN ACTION
Even though it looks very yellowish, the product blends invisible into my skin.
It feels creamy, smooth and blends very easily.
I noticed that it evens out my skintone. Makes my skin look smoother. I can use this as a primer and foundation on days when I don't want much makeup at all. But I prefer to set this with a powder.
As you have seen before in my Lancome dual finish entry, this is how the BB cream looks like after setting:
And I used it again this morning, I applied it at 7am in the morning, and this is taken after 4 hours of wear. Even though it was nice and rainy this morning, I sweated much while I was in class....well, when you are standing there and talking, that's what usually happens. Then I ran a couple of errands, and came home for a bit. I blotted lightly around my T-zone before taking these pictures.
All products used
On my face: Freshel Moist Lift W Cream, Lancome Dual Finish powder
Cheeks: MAC Cheeky Bronze MSF, MAC Pink Swoom
Eyes: UDPP, UD NAKED palette Sin, UD Rehab shadow pencil to line upper eyes
Lips: MAC Marquis'D lipstick
Lenses -- GEOCH625
Note my new blacker hair! I always DIY, but once in a while, I like to go for a salon job, because they can spread the product more evenly, so all my natural brown roots can be evenly coated with the hair dye.
after four hours
I noticed that I have been using my BB creams more often these days, because I find that they work really fast to even out my skintone, especially when I am just out for a few hours, and they give me enough coverage and protection. I even slap on my BB cream when I go jogging. My faves are the Bobbi Brown one, the Rachel K, and now I think I have found a new one to rotate too. :)
Next, we have the WHITE C CLEANSING OIL A - which is an effective makeup remover. I am no stranger to oil removers and cleansers, and this works well and effective enough.
We also received this little sample pack of products - which is just great for me to bring along for my trip at the end of the week.
I am very intrigued by the Cleansing Cream - both Chantana and I were trying to swatch it and see how it feels. :)
