Hi!

I don't think I have ever done a 'gift guide' blog entry ever before... was catching up with my gf yesterday, and she was saying how I could do something like this... and I got home thinking, yes, I think I can!  This is my personal list of where I would shop for gifts, what I would buy, in case you need new/ fresh ideas of what to get for that female colleague, sister, mom, your girlfriend etc etc etc.   

If you want a fuss free gift buying experience (no cashier queues, no standing in the store and thinking of what to buy), or the only time you have time to shop for gifts is in the wee hours of the morning, go to Feelunique.com, they are having a 15% off storewide right now (code TREAT15) and their Christmas gift shop is very well organised, you can sort products by WHO you are shopping for, the TYPE of products, your budget and so on.   The code will be ending soon, and order by Monday (2 Dec) to ensure your package arrives by Christmas.  I just placed an order last night, mainly a lot of stocking fillers.  

If you have a big budget, and buying something for the fragrance lover, you can't go wrong with Jo Malone.  They always release special gift sets during the festive season, and the gift choices are plenty for you to take your pick.  My personal reccomendation is to go for the assorted mini bottle sets, or if you know her fave Jo Malone scent, get it in a lotion/candle/bath & cologne set, or go for their special scent of the month Promengranate Noir (my current fave too).

If you know your colleague's or sister's fave skincare and fragrance brands, you can also get one of the many many coffret sets that every beauty house will release at this time of the year.  Sure, the products are predictable, but at least you know you are getting something that she will love and use.

Or if you are not too sure what beauty product to get, go for Yankee Candles, I personally cannot get enough of them, and my current fave scents are the Gingerbread, Red Velet and Apple & Pumpkin (from their Autumn collection).

If you are doing the office gift exchange, secret santa, where you are not sure who you are getting the gift for, check out LUSH gift sets, I think they will appeal to most people, and they are something different from the usual brands of toiletries/bath goodies.

I hope this little list has been helpful, and give you some inspiration on where to start shopping!   It is certainly not exhaustive, and I could probably add another 500000 items to the list.  Maybe before you head out present shopping today, do a little bit of homework ahead, and braving the shopping mall crowd would be a little less intimidating and frustrating!
